Greetings and thank you's all round from Ireland. Nice one Clive... thanks for taking the time out to develop this simple solution... no bells and whistles... just a solution that works!! Will you be supporting this for updates of OSX Yosemite...? Just in case Apple plays a few new tricks with future updates... ?
I have a question though. With apple script, can you create a rule that will to the same for incoming emails. They must show as icons and not preview. This story that you have to click on it as select "show as icon" is sommer rubbish.
I have been pulling my hair apart because of the stupid inline images. I work for an advertising agency and i need to email a lot of jpegs as attachment every day ( my Mail folder is about 70+ GB) and since i switched to OSX i have been going crazy about this issue. I tried all the tricks which are floating all over the web for last few months but somehow i stumbled onto your page today. It works like a charm. I am using OSX 10.10.2 with mail 8.2. One question ; i have an update available for 10.10.3 via beta testing. Will the plugin still work or will i have to wait for an update from your side.
