Ideal! Have been looking for a solution for an age honestly. However before I go ahead with purchase, I only have one qualm. My signature which is a pdf is also turning into an icon. Is there anyway I can remedy this?
That worked! Too well. I forgot that I have an image in my E-mail signature that I want displayed and not an attachment. How do I revert back to the original Mail settings?

A: Sure, just go to Mail -> Preferences -> Anti Inline and disable the plugin

I just found this, installed it and it works perfectly with OS X El Captan.
