OS X El Capitan - Mail Anti Inline Plugin

Hi all,

(go to plugin page)

As we all live in a fast paced world, I'll keep it brief:

  • The plugin is no longer free / it took a lot of work
(all who donated get a license for free, just drop me an email clive@clivegaleni.com)
  • The plugin now leaves signatures inlined
  • Issue with Office 365 and Exchange recipients is now resolved
  • Gmail now shows attachment icon for your emails with attachments
  • Weird att.000 files are no longer manifesting

The plugin's main purpose is to disable inlined images for your recipients that are using other email software (Windows Mail / Outlook / Gmail / Thunderbird / ...).

Note: This plugin does not prevent annoying Mail app "auto preview" feature (yet)

Grab your copy, try it out and if it suits your needs, please purchase a license.

If it doesn't fit your needs, let me know what troubles you so we can fix it!

Thank you again for a massive feedback and support.

    Hi Clive.

I was excited to see that you'd updated this plugin to retain signatures.

However, after installation, and a logout and login, the 'CG's Anti-Inline' item isn't in the 'Mail' menu. The folder is present in the Bundles folder in my Home library folder though. Any ideas?

    Thanks,

    Steve

Hi Steve, we resolved this via email. Thanks for your note, I'll also answer here for the others to know:

If you have email plugins disabled you must run this at the terminal:

defaults write com.apple.mail EnableBundles -bool YES

However, I added this command to the installer today, so you don't have to do this anymore.

    Installing is enough.

At last someone has nailed this issue!!! It's been driving me mad for months since Lokiware stopped developing Attachment Tamer. I'm going to tell as many people as I can about this wonderful plug-in. Great work!

Finally! Don't know how you could use email without it :)
